On 10 February 2011, at an invitation-only luncheon headlined by Harps on the Rocks and the Honorable William Pinkham, Mayor of Estes Park, CO, more than 25 coffee and pie enthusiasts were held in anticipation when at approximately 1:45 p.m. MST, Scooter Thompson, You Need Pie!™ Too Café manager / partner revealed the outcome of the previous round of voting. Voters from all over the world including people from as far away as Sweden, the UK, Australisa and several countries in South America as well as many people from all over the United States voted that Kind Coffee, LLC., blend C should be selected as the World's Best Coffee to Go with Pie. Despite losing, blends A and B put in good showings – a testament to how great all three were and how good Kind Coffee is. After winning, Blend C was officially revealed at the new house blend for You Need Pie!™ Too Café and the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery. In addition, the new coffee simultaneously went on sale at the Café and the bakery in 2oz souvenir packs and 12 oz packs, the You Need Pie! web secure store at You Need Pie!™ Coffee, and the Kind Coffee, LLC webstore – the latter only until the end of February.

On 10 February 2011, You Need Pie!™ Too Café, part of the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery family, in a joint venture with Kind Coffee, LLC will reveal the winning blend of coffee as voted for by the public who attended the pie and coffee tasting during Estes Park's Winter Festival held over MLK Jr. weekend. An invitation-only, reveal party/luncheon will be held at You Need Pie!™ Too Café between 12:30 and 2:30 pm M.D.T. If you would like to be invited, please send an eMail to info@YouNeedPie.com indicating your name and number of guests. Guests will be invited based on a random drawing from all valid requests. Please do not ask to be invited if you are not available to attend during the aforementioned times. The luncheon will be complimentary and all of those in attendance will receive a complimentary sample of the new coffee to brew at home.

On 3 January 2011, You Need Pie!™ Too Café, part of the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery family, announced a joint venture with Kind Coffee, LLC to determine the best coifed in the world to go with pie. Kind Coffee, Estes Park's organic, fair trade roastery of excellent coffees will create the candidate blends.
During the annual Estes Park Winter Festival, 14-17 January 2011, free samples of Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery pie and the candidate blends will be available for sampling and voting at both the Kind Coffee shop located at 470 E. Elkhorn Avenue and the You Need Pie!™ Too Cafe located at 145 E. Elkhorn Avenue between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The results of the voting will be announced on 10 February 2011 at a special luncheon beginning at 12:30 pm with the unveiling of the new 'World's Best Coffee to Go with Pie" at 2:30 pm. Simultaneous to the announcement, the sale of the new coffee will commence at all Kind Coffee and Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery locations as well as on line for people form out of town.
Everyone in the world who can make it to the voting booths is encouraged to participate in this huge event.
