Kind Coffee and the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery to Announce the "World's Best Coffee to Serve with Pie"
In a joint venture, between Estes Park's renowned, independently owned, organic coffee roaster and the café cousin of the Estes Park Pie Shop and Bakery, the owners of Kind Coffee, LLC. and the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery plan to announce the results of four days of voting and reveal 'The World's Best Coffee to Go With Pie!' at a special luncheon and unveiling ceremony to be held at the You Need Pie!™ Too Café at 12:30 pm M.D.T. on Thursday, February 10, 2011 with the official reveal at 2:30 pm at which time the new coffee will be simultaneously put on sale around Estes Park and via the world wide web.
Estes Park, CO, USA January 28, 2011 – The results of days of tasting and voting for the 'World's Best Coffee to Go with Pie' are in, and Kind Coffee, LLC. and the You Need Pie!™ Too Café, both located in downtown Estes Park, Colorado, will reveal the winning blend at a special, invitation-only party to be held at the café on February 10, 2011 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 pm M.D.T.
The winning coffee blend will be dubbed, "You Need Pie!™ Coffee" and become the signature blend to be served at You Need Pie!™ Too Café. It will also be for sale locally at Kind Coffee, the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery, and natioanlly via the web.
"It was incredibly rewarding to witness so many people from all over the world participating..." as voting between three specially-designed blends of Kind Coffee were sampled with Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery's pie during Estes Park's Winter Festival held January 19-21..."in this wonderful event," said café manager, Scooter Thompson. "There were people from as far away as Sweden and Australia not to mention Alabama and Iowa who got to voice their opinion."
"Not only did we have visitors from out of town here to taste coffee and
pie, our local customers were very excited to participate in this event. The
entire weekend was 'a buzz' with all the festivities, and it was a great
promotion for our businesses and town," added Amy Hamrick, owner of Kind Coffee, LLC.
Those in attendance for the reveal-party can expect great food and festivities as well as free samples of the winning blend. There are still seats available for the event. Tickets to the luncheon will be awarded from a random drawing from all those who request to be invited. If you would like to be invited, please send an email indicating as much to info@YouNeedPie.com.
Locally known as the premiere organic coffee roaster and best pie shop / bakery in town, it was only a matter of time before the owners of Kind Coffee and the Estes Park Pie Shop and Bakery would join forces to develop and select the 'World's Best Coffee to Go With Pie!'. Inviting their loyal customers and all Coloradoans to taste and vote on which blend goes best with pie was a natural progression of the business relationship.

About The Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery and You Need Pie!™ Too Café
We opened our first shop, the Estes Park Pie Shop & Bakery, on the east end of Elkhorn Avenue in April of 2008 and fulfilled our life-long dream of owning and operating a small business in Estes Park where we grew up. Ever since, we have worked to fulfill our bakery business principles:
• we bake using time-tested recipes – most handed down from our mothers & grandmothers – the finest ingredients, and devotion to the culinary arts at high altitude
• we strive to please every guest of our shops with our assortment of the freshest and most delicious baked goods, prices that befit the economy, and customer service second to none
• We follow the 'Making Grandma Proud philosophy'. Every issue that arises has a quick solution. We ask, "What would make our grandmothers proud?" This simple question has profound implications. It guides as well as inspires us.
